I feel like it would be inappropriate for me to write a post today without acknowledging the fact that it is the 10th anniversary of 9/11. That day forever changed the course of history. Everyone remembers where they were that fateful day when they heard the news. I was in 8th grade, in Mrs. Nelson’s history class. She was usually a stoic woman, but not that day. She tried to tell us the news, but started crying before she could finish. Needless to say, we spent the majority of class watching the television and contemplating our future, not studying the past. I wish I could have saved my thoughts that day in a blog entry, but I only started blogging in 2003. I’ve already looked in past journals, and I didn’t seem to mention it anywhere. It doesn’t matter so much, because I will never be able to forget it.
