Today, Daniel finally turned 21, making it officially legal for him to drink alcoholic beverages. To celebrate, we went to The Old Toad for dinner and drinks. Daniel always talked about going there for his first drink after he turned 21, and it was a pleasure to be able to treat him to it.
After walking back to the apartment, we watched This is Spinal Tap. I only saw this movie for the first time last summer, and it’s one of Daniel’s favorites. It’s definitely a hilarious classic, with so many funny moments and good quotes.
I hope he had a good birthday, I wish I could have done more to make it a fantastic one. Monday birthdays are tough!
